The Social Territorial Area (hereinafter ATS) is an inter-municipal association with the task of establishing forms and methods of planning, organization and associated management of social services as dictated by Law 328/00 "Framework law for the implementation of the integrated system of interventions and social services" and Regional Law 6 May 2014 n.
13 “Reorganization of the integrated system of interventions and social services”.The local planning tool for interventions and social-health services used by the Territorial Social Area is the Social Area Plan.
Regulated by art.
19 of Law 328/00 and pursuant to the Convention ex art.30 of Legislative Decree 267/2000, for the related regulation of administrative skills and functions and the unitary management of services, the Area Social Plan is the plan district general of interventions and social services for the individual and family with the aim of: encouraging the formation of local intervention systems based on complementary and flexible services and benefits, defining the criteria for allocating the expenditure borne by each Municipality, the companies , local health authorities and other online bodies, provide training and refresher courses for operators to carry out service development projects.The organizational structure of the ATS is made up of the Committee of Mayors, the Planning Office and the Citizenship Offices.The Committee of Mayors is the collegial, political-decision-making and governance body of the activities carried out within the ATS, which approves the Program Agreement and establishes the Planning Office.All the Mayors of the 16 Municipal Administrations meet periodically, upon convocation of the Mayor of the leading Municipality, in the Committee of Mayors to discuss the various topics on the agenda.
